Sunrise Kiwanis gives back to the Valparaiso Community in many different ways throughout the year. Some of these ways we back is through fundraiser's. Below you will find a list of fundraiser's and descriptions of the fundraiser's Sunrise Kiwanis does.

5K Run -Sunset Park

Members of the community, including families and children are encouraged to participate in a  5-K race or walk.  Sponsorships are sold for this event and contributing businesses or individuals have his/her name or logo imprinted on the back of the race T-shirt.  The shirt design is created by a Valparaiso elementary age child.  Help is needed with race set up and take down, registration, advertising, and race day officials.

 Choc-O-Lots

This is the fundraising event highlighting the delights of chocolate! We ask local companies from around the area to come and bring sample sizes of different chocolate or sweet tasting foods and drinks. Tickets are sold to the community asnd all money raised benefits children's charities. 

County Line Orchard Trick and Treat

Club members are asked to sell sponsorship tables to families, businesses, churches, or individuals  for this wild evening of fun and games for young children at County Line Orchard on the evening prior to Halloween.  Costumes are requested but not required!

Rummage Sale

A sale of used clothing, furniture and house wares takes place once each year, usually in the spring.  Arrangements need to be made for advertising the event via fliers and ads in the newspaper and online.  Much help is needed for set-up and take-down.

 Popcorn Sales

Popcorn balls are sold prior to the start of the Popcorn Parade along the parade route on the day of the community Popcorn Festival.  Popcorn balls are ordered a month prior to the sale and Sunrise Kiwanis tags are attached to the balls prior to the sale.
